About the event
Dance for your Heart is an annual charity fundraising dance event designed to raise awareness around the prevention of heart disease in the loving memory of Craig Washington. His wife Toni, their two children and Toni's best friend La Verne created this event to spread heart disease awareness, raise awareness about handling grief with healthy coping mechanisms, and to get people up and moving. Since 2013, this event has raised more than $10,000 dollars for multiple organizations in the Richmond, Virginia community.
